Dr Strange Illustration

This Artwork of Dr. Steven Strange (aka Dr. Strange) was made to celebrate the 2022 Movie: Dr Strange and the Mutliverse of Madness – by Marvel Entertainment Studios. The main goal besides creating a beautiful artwork was to get Benedict Cumberbatch’s likeness right. My main references came primarily from Ryan Meinerdings work but also the comics and screenshots from the MCU Movies.

Here are some Work in Progress Images to give you a better picture of how it’s done. Generally I tried a few new things out and played around a bit more than usually. That’s probably why it took longer than my Bowser Artwork even though it has a lot less going on.
