Chainsaw Man – Splash Art

Chainsaw Man is a Manga, that has been getting a lot of hype for a long time. Once the anime was announced I knew this was something I had to watch. I was patient, the anime came out and I decided to not watch anything, not even the trailers, before the full first season was out.

It came out – I watched it – immediately several ideas for a Artwork came to my head. Even before watching it I knew I will want to draw something related to it so I prepared to do some gore for the first time. Usually my art isn’t this dark after all.

It all started with a sketch which I posted to Instagram, to see if people even wanted to see something regarding Chainsaw Man.

After that it was pretty clear I need to finish this, so I started gathering references and got to work. You can watch the full process of this on my YouTube Channel.
